Corflutes and Multi-Message Signs
The multi-message sign system regulates speed limits on work sites with minimal light weight signs that are more conspicuous because of their striking colour combinations.

The new Australian Standard AS1742.3:2002 requires that retro-reflective material be used on signs for roadworks. It must meet at least the requirements of Class 1. Signs warning of works personnel shall have a combination fluorescent reflective red or orange background.

Please note that Corflute and Multi Message Signs are not used in the Northern Territory or NSW.
